We are seeking a skilled and qualified Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team in September. In addition to providing exceptional classroom support, this role includes covering a class once a week. As a valued member of our team, you’ll work collaboratively to enhance student learning and contribute to our school’s ethos, embracing our vision and values.

We are seeking a qualified Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the team in September. In addition to providing exceptional classroom support, this role includes covering a class once a week. As a valued member of our team, you’ll work collaboratively to enhance student learning and contribute to our school’s ethos, embracing our vision and values.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing and covering an entire class
  • Show enthusiasm and dedication to delivering excellent Phonics instruction and supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Provide support during meal and snack times, as well as assist with care routines
  • Maintain high standards of care and support for children consistently
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere where every child receives the necessary support to thrive

The successful applicant will have experience working in a school setting, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both staff and students whilst emphasising child-initiated learning through a topic-based curriculum.
