Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant seeking a fulfilling role where you can make a real difference? We’re partnering with a vibrant SEN school located in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, and we’re on the lookout for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.

This is an incredible opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your skills and passion for helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) will truly shine. This role is temporary with the potential to become permanent, and it is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential support to students with SEN needs, assisting with both academic and emotional development.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other staff members to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Offer one-on-one support and small group interventions as required, ensuring the well-being and progress of all students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN needs is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both students and colleagues.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, coupled with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently when required.
